The Regional Science Centre's Innovation Hub offers a diverse range of activities designed to inspire curiosity, foster creativity, and develop scientific thinking among students and science enthusiasts of all ages.
Discovery Hall
This area of hub has interactive science exhibits/experiments to create excitement about science through exploration to understand core principles. This will help promote logical thinking.
Innovation Resource Centre
This space used to showcase innovative ideas/products/implements that will encourage the young minds to conduct experiments and explore the ideas in tangible form. Learning about the success stories or inspirations behind innovations/inventions through appropriate modes.
Idea Lab
This lab facilitates necessary instruments, tools to pursue creative and innovative hobbies/activities that involve model making, basic science experimentation, design & fabrication of prototype, teaching/learning kits or aids for better classroom transactions, testing of samples like soil, water, food items etc
Thod Phod Jod (Break & Remake) Corner
Students learn to do things with their own hands, dismantle, reassemble and remake devices/gadgets.
Kabad Se Jugad (Build from scraps)
Students learn by making useful prototypes/things using day to day scrap.
Idea Box
Students submit their innovative ideas which will be chosen for experimentation/model making/project work.
Mentoring & workshop sessions
organized talks, capacity‑building workshops, innovation festivals, and projects where students are guided to take an idea through to prototype or display.
